Pianodays2020

In 2020, together with Noordrand, I will be organising a piano festival ‘Pianodays 2020’. This is the first edition of a bigger project that goes beyond the borders of cities. Educational, playful, prestigious and sociable initiatives will be set up, with the piano playing a central role throughout the whole month of March in 2020.

As a pianist, it is my intention that I can leave my mark on both the programming of the festival and the choices of the initiatives taken, with the emphasis on diversity, originality and experience. The many and diverse aspects of the piano, both in terms of repertoire, genre and audiences, must be addressed. It is promised to be a delight for your ears.

Square Circles

Together with my wife, psychologist Marine Glaesener, I have organized about 30 concerts in our living room situated on the Rigasquare in Schaerbeek. The high ceilings and parquet floor make for a great acoustic, great neighbours and friends make for a good time, and the artists make for incredible and unforgettable moments. The  guests bring some dishes for the buffet and the artists have the opportunity to try out their new set, rehearse for their tour, or just play for the fun of it. No money is asked or paid, and the experience has taught us that these events are invaluable to all involved.
